Break-in to business
On January 26, 2019, Belleville Police took a report of a break-in to a business on Pinnacle Street. Sometime between the January 20 and 26, unknown persons entered the building stealing miscellaneous power tools, a boat motor, copper wire, and a white mountain bike. Traffic stop
On January 27, 2019, at 5:48 p.m,. an officer was performing radar duties on Wallbridge-Loyalist Road. A speeding infraction for an 18-year-old Belleville man led to the discovery of improper licence plates on his vehicle. The licence plates were seized and the vehicle was towed. He was also charged with failing to produce an insurance card.
Mischief
On January 27, 2019, at 7:10 p.m,. officers attended at a disturbance at a home in the east end. It was reported that the son was damaging property. Several chairs had been thrown including one that sailed through a large screen TV. An 18-year-old male was arrested for mischief under $5000. He was released with a court date of February 28, 2019.
