We have more information about theft charges laid against a Brighton couple earlier this week.
Ricky and Suzanne Chapman, both 50, were charged with theft over $5,000 from a Brighton charitable organization.
Northumberland OPP started an investigation last July.
According to Northumberlandnews.com the Chapmans were the founders of the non-profit organization Sunny Days Group Program.
Sunny Days was set up to help young people with special needs.
According to the report, the Chapmans were chosen as Citizens of the Year in 2014.
They appear in court March 5.
