The Trenton Golden Hawks outshot the Cobourg Cougars last night but in the end lost the game.
The Cougars’ Jamie Engelbert scored in the second overtime period to lead Cobourg to a 5 to 4 win over Trenton.
Trenton outshot Cobourg 45 to 39.
Cameron Gaylor scored 2 goals with the other Trenton scorers being Samuel Duchesne and Tiger McDonald.
Over 600 fans watched the game at the Dunc McDonald Community Centre.
