It was daddy-daughter day at a north Belleville store, but police needed to get involved.
A 33-year-old man and his 13-year-old daughter were both arrested Wednesday for alleged shoplifting.
The teen was released, but the father was charged with theft under $5,000.
No names are being released to protect the youngster’s identity.
