There is a new Honorary Colonel at 2 Air Movement Squadron at 8 Wing Trenton.
Entrepreneur John Cairns was sworn in Wednesday at the National Air Force Museum of Canada.
Cairns created both the Voice of Victory and Wheel of Hope Foundation.
He says he is humbled.
Cairns adds:
Recent statistics show that 2 Air Movement Squadron moved 23 million pounds of freight and 42,000 passengers last year.
Cairns is also the owner of Earl and Angelo’s Restaurant in Belleville.
