The crowded blue line of the Belleville Senators has swelled to nine today.
Yesterday the Ottawa Senators put defenceman Justin Falk on waivers and he’s been sent to Belleville, after clearing today.
Falk was signed as a free agent in November after playing eight games with the American Hockey League’s Colorado Eagles.
He then played 10 games with Ottawa before suffering a concussion three weeks ago, but has now been cleared to play.
Falk has played 279 games in the NHL and 278 in the American League.
Belleville is off until Friday when they host the Toronto Marlies for two games this weekend.
