We failed to mention a local elementary school that did well in the recent Fraser Insitute rankings of over 3,000 schools in Ontario.
Ecole elementaire Catholique L’Envol at 8 Wing Trenton scored a 6.8 out of 10 making it the third best Quinte region school behind CML Snider in Wellington and Murray Centennial in Quinte West.
The annual rankings are calculated using province-wide test results in reading, writing, and math.
