The Bay of Quinte in the east end of Belleville is going to be a very busy place tomorrow morning (Saturday).
The Herchimer Avenue boat launch will be the scene of the annual Cops & Kids Ice Fishing Derby.
The Belleville Police Association hosts the free event for children up to 12 years of age.
Fishing gear and bait is provided and there’ll be a BBQ with hot chocolate and other treats.
The first 100 kids showing up will receive a free toque.
The Cops & Kids Ice Fishing Derby runs from 9 until noon tomorrow.
