WRITTEN BY THE OPP
On January 17, 2019, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Central Hastings OPP responded to a multiple vehicle collision on Highway 62 at Quin-Mo-Lac Road, in the Municipality of Centre Hastings, Ontario.
A 23-year-old female resident of Tweed was southbound on Highway 62 operating a pickup truck.
The driver was stopped and waiting to turn left onto Quin-Mo-Lac Road when she was rear-ended by a southbound car.
The driver was not injured.
The male driver of the southbound vehicle was transported to hospital for minor injuries.
As a result of the pickup truck being rear-ended, it entered into the northbound lane causing a collision with two northbound vehicles.
One driver was a 59-year-old female resident of Stirling, Ontario, who was transported to hospital for minor injuries.
The other northbound driver did not sustained any injuries.
All the vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene.
The highway was closed for approximately one hour.
Investigation is ongoing.
