A vehicle collided with a church in Quinte West early this morning (Wednesday).
Quinte West OPP were called just after 3 o’clock after a resident called saying he’d heard a loud
bang and saw a vehicle up against St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church at Dundas and Marmora Streets
in Trenton.

The vehicle was heavily damaged but no one was inside it.
Police arrested a male suspect moments later and he was transported to Trenton Memorial Hospital.
It’s not known if the church sustained significant damage.
An investigation continues.
