On January 13, 2019 at approximately 12:17 a.m. officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a robbery at the Gas Bar located on Dundas Street West in the city of Quinte West.
OPP Canine and OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) also responded in attempts to locate the person of interest who fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The person is described as:
- Caucasian male
- Approximately 25-45 years of age
- 5’7″ – 5’9″
- Average build
- Male wearing a black puffy winter jacket, black oversized toque, black face mask, Blue jeans, black sunglasses, and black ankle height winter boots.
The Quinte West OPP crime unit is currently investigating the robbery and are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the person responsible.
