Belleville Council will be looking at continuing a rebate program for low income seniors.
At their meeting Monday, council will talk about a $400 property tax credit for seniors.
Twenty-two percent of the municipal tax payers are senior citizens.
If approved, the tax credit would be in place for four years, starting in 2019.
The budget recommendation for the program is anticipated to be around $125,000, $25,000 more than last year.
Seniors would need to apply in order to receive the credit.
