Quinte West OPP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly committed fraud at a Quinte West bank before Christmas.
Police say the suspect used fake identification to obtain a replacement debit card to an account on December 21.
The card was then used to take a large amount of cash in Canadian and American funds in Quinte West and Belleville.
The man then returned on December 27 to the same bank in Quinte West and attempted to open a new account before fleeing.
The suspect is described as white with short dark hair beginning to grey, a dark mustache and goatee, standing approximately 6′ tall with an average to thin build.
The vehicle he was driving is described as a 2016-2018 Chevrolet Cruze hatchback.
