Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre is getting a late Christmas present courtesy of the Downtown Belleville Improvement Area.
Fifty trees that lined Front Street outside of shops in The Village, are heading to the Napanee rescue site, for porcupines.
Porcupines love Christmas trees for food.
Annually more than 100 trees line Front Street for store owners to decorate, and now thanks to the BDIA, they will get a second life and good use.
