Disturbance
On January 6, 2019, at 11:15 p.m. police attended the city’s old west hill area with regard to a 22-year-old Belleville man acting strangely. Upon arrival the male was located on the street and officers determined that he had badly cut his hand while acting in a bizarre manner in his home. As the male’s hand was bleeding profusely he became agitated and aggressive towards officers. The male was tasered and taken to the hospital where he was sedated and provided with medical attention. No other persons were injured and there will be no criminal charges laid.
