The Ontario College of Teachers has revoked the teaching licence of a former Tweed Elementary School staff member.
Jaclyn Lindsay Jones, who is also known as Jaclyn McLaren, was found guilty of professional misconduct at a disciplinary committee hearing in late November.
The former teacher pled guilty to seven sex-related charges and was sentenced to two years in prison in May 2017.
McLaren had been a teacher at Tweed Elementary from 2011-2015 and the offences involved eight youths all under the age of 18.
The offences took place between 2013 and 2016.
