Charges have been laid after a heated exchange at a home in Belleville Tuesday night.
Around 10:30 p.m., officers were called to the east end, where it is reported a man and his son got into a physical altercation.
Officers revealed the man had broke a computer and printer, and when police went to arrest the man, he became violent and assaulted one of the officers.
A 32-year-old has been charged with assaulting an officer, mischief, breach of probation, and obstructing police.
