As we move into 2019 the head of the Belleville Chamber of Commerce says the chamber will continue to help foster an attitude of compromise and collaboration across the city.
CEO Jill Raycroft says sharing more stories of local businesses and the people who run them will help to negate the “us versus them attitude” and grow the chamber’s connection to the city’s residents.
Raycroft says they’ll also be working on a project called “The Hidden Job Market”, in partnership with some other local economic developent groups, which will hopefully show local youth that there are ways to stay in the area, be employed and be successful.
