A Hastings Highlands man has been charged after a family dispute on Boxing Day.
Bancroft OPP were called to a home in Hastings Highlands on Highway 62 North late in the evening, where the complainant was at a neighbour’s house and said he had been assaulted in his home.
Police went back to the man’s house and spoke to the suspect, who became aggressive towards officers, but was eventually arrested.
Thirty-seven-year-old Elwood Ostroskie has been charged with breaching probation, assault, assaulting a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, mischief and three counts of uttering threats.
He was held for a bail hearing in Belleville.
