A Quinte West woman is facing charges after an incident at Trenton Memorial Hospital early Sunday morning.
OPP had responded to a disturbance at the hospital multiple times throughout the night and de-escalated the situation, but were called back again around 5:30 a.m., when they say the woman started acting up again.
Police say one officer was assaulted by the woman during that interaction, but she was eventually placed under arrest.
Twenty-one year-old Leah Perrault is charged with two counts of mischief and one count each of causing a disturbance and assault.
Perrault was released on a promise to appear in Belleville Court on February 7.
