Northumberland OPP have identified the man who died in a single vehicle accident on the 401 early Christmas morning near Brighton.
Police say 41-year-old Bakul Ali from Scarborough was pronounced dead at the scene according to Today’s Northumberland.
Two passengers were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
The eastbound lanes of the 401 were closed between Brighton and Quinte West for several hours while the OPP investigated.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
