Quinte Health Care is “very proud” of the staff and physicians working in all four hospitals during 2018.
Taking a “look back ” at the past year CEO Mary Clare Egbert tells Quiinte News QHC had a year of very high patient volumes.
She said when the fire that occurred on a patient floor earlier in the year staff showed ” incredible dedication providing exceptional patient care.”
Egbert says, as the population ages, and dementia cases increase, there are behaviour issues in the hospitals and staff “are doing a very good job managing” those issues.
