While there were lots of accomplishments for Quinte West Council in 2018, there is one big area where the city was able to make progress, according to Mayor Jim Harrison.
The city’s doctor recruitment committee signed on at least one new physician this year and has strong leads on dozens more moving forward.
Mayor Harrison tells Quinte News, he’s extremely proud of the work that group has done and it will make a huge difference for the city moving forward.
Some other major projects that were completed in 2018 include the opening of the new fire hall and operations building, along with finalizing plans for the construction of the new OPP station.
