Canadian Forces Base Trenton has seen some major changes over the last decade, including major new hangars, the purchase of hundreds of acres north of the current base, and new fire equipment.
Base Commander Colonel Mark Goulden says work on the runway dominated 2018.
He adds that in 2019 he wants to focus on facilities that are supports for the service men and women.
