The Town of Deseronto is a busy place, despite being a small town in the Bay of Quinte area.
As Quinte News continues to look back at the year that was, we chatted with outgoing mayor Norm Clark.
Clark says they are seeing more residential property, and seniors are looking for somewhere to go, but remain in town.
He says many developers shy away because of a land claim.
Clark says the water plant expansion is moving along well.
Clark says they are expected to get new physicians in town, as Doctor Reynolds is expected to retire in a few years.
An expanding water plant, and the possible expansion of rope manufacturer Canada Cordage are in the plans.
