A reminder for residents in Prince Edward County that changes are coming to the County’s water and wastewater rates effective January 1, 2019.
Based on the most common three-quarter connection, the monthly base charge for water is increasing just under one dollar, to $30.26, while the consumption rate will go up 16 cents to $2.44 per cubic metre.
The monthly wastewater base charge is going up 86 cents to $42.05 and the consumption rate is up 27 cents, to $3.37 per cubic metre.
