The provincial government is temporarily boosting the number of beds at Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg.
Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini recently announced $242,000 to provide 4 more beds to help with the annual flu season, now underway.
Quinte Health Care also received extra funding recently allowing it to operate an extra 15 beds through the flu season.
