With a deadline nearing, another local council will discuss whether or not to allow retail cannabis stores.
The issue will be up for discussion tonight (Monday) at a meeting of Quinte West council.
Before a decision, council will hear a presentation on the legalization of cannabis from the Hastings Prince Edward Health Unit.
Municipal councils have until January 22 to make a decision on retail cannabis stores.
