A young man lost his licence and his vehicle for seven days yesterday (Friday) afternoon in Belleville.
Belleville police clocked a driver going 104 kmh in a 50 kmh zone on Herchimer Avenue in the city’s east end shortly after 4 o’clock.
An 18-year-old Belleville man was charged with stunt driving.
Meanwhile, just before 5 o’clock yesterday morning (Friday), Belleville police responded to an apartment building on Sidney Street.
A fire alarm was sounding. Denny Levi Turcotte of Belleville, 40, of Belleville was charged with setting off a false alarm and breach of probation.
