On November 17, Quinte West firefighters from Station 1 conducted a road toll at the intersection of Front St. and Dixon Dr. and the generosity from people in the community was overwhelming.
People donated loose change from their cup holders in their vehicle to cash from their wallets.
Big and small donations alike added up and allowed the firefighters to give back to the community.
On Wednesday night at Station 1 in Trenton. a donation of $1,000 each was presented to Lisa Triemstra from Quinte West Adopt-a-Child, Vicky Struthers of Food for Learning and Sandy Watson-Moyles and Leah Morgan from Three Oaks Foundation.
