Northumberland County council has had a look at a proposed budget for 2019.
As presented, the $123 million budget goes up by 2.5%, representing an increase of $24 to the median household in the county.
Highlights of the budget include shifting to two-stream recycling and the launching of a green bin service, detailed design of a new bridge in Campbellford, and the completion of an affordable housing strategy.
Northumberland County council is expected to debate and vote on the budget January 30.
