UPDATE @ 11:00 a.m.: Quinte West OPP say they’re continuing to look into a fatal crash in Frankford this morning.
Police, firefighters and EMS were called to Riverside Parkway at Frankford Road, for the single vehicle crash, just before 5:00 a.m.
Investigators say a 57 year-old man, the only person in the car, was pronouned dead at the scene.
His name is being withheld until the family has been notified.
Riverside Parkway remains closed from River Drive, to south of Frankford Road, as the investigation continues.

UPDATE @ 10:10 a.m.: Sources say an elderly man was killed in a crash in Quinte West early this morning.
Police, fire and medics were called to the Riverside Parkway and Belleville Road area in Frankford, at 4:45 a.m., where a vehicle was discovered under the bridge and the man was found inside.
He had to be extricated from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There’s no word yet on a cause of death, or an identity of the victim.

There was a serious single vehicle collision near the Trent River in Frankford early this morning (Tuesday).
Reports indicate a vehicle was seen under the bridge at Riverside Parkway and Frankford Road at about 4:45 this morning.
An unconscious elderly man was said to trapped inside.
Quinte West firefighters, OPP, and EMS paramedics responded to the scene.
