The Belleville Police Service responded to 58 calls for service between December 10, 2018 at 5 a.m. and December 11, 2018 at 5 a.m.
Motor Vehicle Collision
Police were dispatched to the area of Pinnacle St. and Moira St. for a two vehicle collision. Initial reports have a vehicle not stopping for a red light at the intersection. The collision resulted in both northbound lanes being blocked until the vehicles were removed. As a result of the collision investigation, one driver was charged with failing to stop for a red light. No injuries were reported.
Stolen Trailer
A dump trailer was reported stolen to police at 1:59 p.m. from the city’s north end. A 2017 Miska dump trailer with Ontario Licence plate N6218Z was stolen between Dec 7 – 10.
