There is a power outage affecting approximately 300 people at this hour in the area of York Road.
The cause of the outage is a two vehicle collision that occurred on York Road just before the noon hour that brought down hydro wires.
Hydro crews are on scene and estimated restoration time is 3:15 p.m.
Tyendinaga firefighters were called to the scene and it was reported one person was trapped in a vehicle.
There was no report on injuries.
