Residents of Centre Hastings will have an opportunity to express their opinions on whether or not council should allow retail cannabis stores in the municipality.
Mayor Tom Deline tells Quinte News the Committee of the Whole decided, on Wednesday, to recommend approval.
Deline says there will be a public meeting to allow people a chance to give their opinions.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. on December 12, in Ivanhoe Hall.
