Bancroft OPP say two people were hurt in a car crash stemming from a domestic incident.
Officers were called to the initial incident at a business on Fairway Boulevard in the late morning Monday, where a man had been driving aggressively in a parking lot and chased the woman involved, in another car, up Hastings Street North.
Investigators say he passed a number of other cars in an attempt to catch up and lost control, getting into a crash with another vehicle at York River Drive.
Both drivers were taken to hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and an investigation is ongoing.
Hastings Street North was closed for about seven hours to start the investigation, but anyone who might have more details on what happened can contact Bancroft OPP or Crimestoppers.
