A 42-year-old Tweed man is facing charges after a home invasion in the town Friday evening.
Around 7:15 p.m., Central Hastings OPP were called to a disturbance on Courneya Road.
A man reportedly entered a home, swinging an axe, looking to confront a man who lived at the house.
Three people were home at the time, including a child.
The man was charged with assault with a weapon, uttering threats, breach of probation, and unlawfully in a dwelling.
He is in court today in Belleville.
No names are being released.
