You don’t hear about these kinds of incidents much these days, but there were a couple of mean dogs roaming in Belleville’s east end late yesterday afternoon.
The two dogs were last seen in the vicinity of Herchimer Avenue and Bridge Street East at around 6 o’clock.
City police report that three people were bitten by the dogs and had to be treated at Belleville General hospital.
The dogs were eventually caught and taken to the Quinte Humane Society.
Anyone with information or anyone else that was attacked by the dogs is asked to contact Constable Lacey Montgomery at the Belleville Police Service.
