Once again the Quinte Ballet School of Canada is bringing a special holiday dance event to Belleville.
At this year’s “Holiday Dance” performance, graduating student Talia Gauthier will be tackling some new roles including the lead in “Spanish Dance,” as well as solo parts.
Gauthier, a Trenton resident, became part of “Team Canada Dance” at the age of 13, and graduated from local high schools.
She graduates from the Ballet School in 2019.
While she enjoys all aspects of dance, Gauthier says her favourite styles are Contemporary and Jazz.
The Quinte Ballet students perform the annual “Holiday Dance” featuring Nutcracker ballet favourites, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 15 and 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 16.
Both performances are at Centennial Secondary School.
