If it was all about shots on goal the Trenton Golden Hawks should’ve been involved in a laugher last night at the Dunc McDonald arena.
But it’s not and the G Hawks lost a heartbreaker to Whitby 3 to 2 in double overtime.
The loss came despite Trenton out-shooting Whitby 40 to 29 in front of 491 fans.
Whitby’s dagger came just 12 second into the second overtime.
Baker and Nastasiuk scored for the Golden Hawks.
