The new council for the Township of Tyendinaga will get together later today (Saturday) for its first formal meeting.
However, there won’t be any municipal business done except for the swearing in of the five person council.
The inaugural Tyendinaga Township council meeting will be held at noon today in the municipal office.
On council are Reeve Rick Phillips, Deputy-Reeve Adam Hannafin and councillors Don McFarlane, Claire Kennelly and Heather Lang.
