Several local paramedics will receive awards from Ontario Health Minister Christine Elliott Wednesday
Seventy-seven EMS workers will receive honours, for 30 years of service.
From Hastings Quinte, Graham Bent, Paul Gentile, Roger Litwiller, and John Scott will receive first bars.
For 40 years of service is John O’Donnell from Hastings-Quinte and from Northumberland is James A. Anderson.
The awards are for excellence in paramedic services.
