Ministry of Natural Resources officials are investigating an incident in Coe Hill earlier this month when a deer was shot on private property.
The MNR says late on November 13, conservation officers were told about a deer on private property, being shot from the side of Lower Faraday Road.
Conservation staff determined that two people had dragged the deer back to the road, loaded it into a vehicle and driven northbound on Lower Faraday Road.
Anyone who might have information is being asked to contact the MNR TIPS line (1-877-847-7667), Crimestoppers (1-800-222-8477), or the MNR Bancroft office (613-332-3940 ext. 300) during regular business hours.
