It hasn’t been easy for Royal Canadian Legions to thrive in recent years, but as the Belleville Branch 99 of the Legion proved Monday,
they never stop giving.
Five charitable organizations, the Belleville Salvation Army, Christmas Sharing, the Three Oaks Foundation, Holy Rosary Catholic School
Breakfast Club, and the Belleville Professional Firefighters Toy Drive all received a nice boost from the Legion and its bingo players.
In total Branch 99 donated $6,500 to the organizations.
