The Belleville Police were active last night and through the early morning hours Sunday.
Around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, they pulled over a 56-year-old driver in the east end, and a passenger was found in possession of drugs.
The suspect was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.

Around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to the north end of Belleville, for a disturbance report.
He could not take care of himself, so officers had to do it for him. He was arrested for his own protection.

Belleville police also had a RIDE check.
More than 240 cars were checked, with nine tickets handed out.
