Quinte West firefighters and Ministry of Environment personnel dealt with a diesel fuel spill early this (Tuesday) morning..
Shortly before 4 o’clock, a tractor trailer hit a barrier in the ONroute parking lot on Highway 401 eastbound at Trenton.
About 100 litres of diesel fuel leaked from its reefer fuel tank.
Firefighters were able to contain the spill and a cleanup is underway.
No one was injured.
