The United Way of Quinte has passed one-third of its $2 million fund-raising goal for this year.
The Bootlegger Bash on the weekend raised $22,000, $5,000 under last year’s total.
Executive Director Kathy Murphy tells Quinte News it may be the last year for that event, but the outlook for fundraising is “positive.”
The United Way fundraising has been hit by the ongoing postal strike.
