Reverend Brad Beale is going to become an even busier man starting in the new year.
Reverend Beale, who ministers to the congregation at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Belleville, will
become the Chaplain of the Belleville Police Service January 1.
Reverend Beale also serves as Padre for the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment.
Belleville Police Chief Ron Gignac says the Chaplain’s role is a volunteer one and is an important part of
the services’ formal physical and emotional wellness program.
The Chaplain will join officers on patrol on occasion and wear a distinctive uniform.
Reverend Beale will also be given the rank of “honorary Inspector”.
