The City of Quinte West is in the Canadian hockey spotlight this week.
The municipality, with the partnership of the Trenton Golden Hawks, are once again hosting the Eastern Canada Cup Challenge.
It brings together the best junior A players from Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada.
There are four teams from the OJHL, two from the Ottawa area CCHL, two from northern Ontario, two clubs from Quebec, and a pair from the Maritimes.
Several players are in the tournament from the Golden Hawks and the Wellington Dukes.
Games go from 9 a.m. to Wednesday evening’s championships.
