On Saturday 11 members of the Quinte Blades speed skating club were in Kingston for the second eastern regional meet of the year.
They came back with four medals and 13 best times.
Alex Caulfield picked up a silver.
Skater and Coach Paul Pickard finished second in the masters group
Eve McMaster grabbed a silver, with Brian Hoffman grabbing a bronze.

The Stirling Figure Skating Club had skaters compete at The Prince Edward County Super Series Competition held this past weekend.
Courtney LaPalm earned the Bronze Medal in Gold Ladies Freeskate.
Jamie Potts had a respectable 5th place finish in Star 8 Women, Taylor Lapierre finished 8th in Star 7 Women and Emily Parliament finished 11th in Star 5 Women under 13 free program.

Trenton Figure Skater Olivia Lord earned a Gold Medal in Star 6 at the Super Series.

In minor hockey action last night, the Raldane Welding Minor Bantam Bulls got past North Durham 3-1.
David Osmond had a pair in the win, Adam Toop two goals.
